Tal vez, sea la solución
Pisa fuerte el acelerador
Uh uh, sin ninguna dirección
Nunca quise ser neurótico
Tal vez, estás en otra dimensión
Todo es parte de una ilusión
Woooooo hoooooo
¡Haremos un picnic frente al televisor!
Nunca quise ser neurótico
Tal vez, estás en otra dimensión...
Dijiste que al final...
"Todos seremos luces"
Te juro que es real
Todo seremos...
¡Frente al telev...!
Woooooohoooooo
¡Haremos un picnic frente al televisor! (Televisor)
¡Frente al televisor!
The lyrics to Entrelineas's song "Picnic TV" seem to be about the desire to escape the mundanity and routine of daily life. The opening lines, "Hoy estoy perdiendo el control / Tal vez, sea la solución" ('Today I am losing control / Maybe, it is the solution') suggest a desire to shake things up and find a new perspective. The following lines, "Pisa fuerte el acelerador / Uh uh, sin ninguna dirección" ('Step hard on the accelerator / Uh uh, without any direction') show a willingness to take risks and move forward without necessarily knowing exactly where it will lead.
The chorus, "Woooooo hoooooo / ¡Haremos un picnic frente al televisor!" ('We will have a picnic in front of the television!') reinforces the idea of wanting to do something different and unpredictable, even if it's just having a picnic in an unconventional place. The repetition of the line "Nunca quise ser neurótico / Tal vez, estás en otra dimensión" ('I never wanted to be neurotic / Maybe you are in another dimension') indicates a sense of not fully understanding oneself or the world, but being open to exploring different possibilities.
The final lines, "Dijiste que al final... / 'Todos seremos luces' / Te juro que es real / Todo seremos... / ¡Frente al telev...!" ('You said that in the end... / "We will all be lights" / I swear it's real / We will all be... / In front of the TV...!') suggest an acceptance of the transience of life and the desire to find meaning and connection in the world, even if it's through something as seemingly banal as watching TV.
Overall, "Picnic TV" is a song about embracing the unknown and finding joy in unexpected moments, even if they may seem insignificant.
