Born Zambia 🇿🇲 but in the UK now. This takes me back to my bedroom in Chalimbana in the rainy season; it had a corrugated iron roof, and as a boy I lay in the dark, loving the deafening din of the rain, lightning and thunder. It's probably my favorite Enya song, too. What really makes it so special to me is the Roland Juno-60 synthesizer she plays on it. I believe those warm arpeggio keyboard sequences are all Juno-60. It's such a beautifully sounding instrument in the right hands, and we have Enya to show gratitude to for cementing the importance of keyboards as front and center in modern music, and not something used in the background, way below the vocals and the guitar and the bass and everything else in the mix.

Fast fact: Africa was once a paradise with lakes of waters in the Sahara. About 7000 years ago, the first inhabitants had to leave because of the draught. I listened to Enya a lot and especially during my pregnancy .My daughter was born to orinoco flow and this being played . She went to sleep peacefully each night as a small baby to Enyas music. She was , and is still the most peaceful calm and loving daughter of nearly 16 years old ..x

If I was to make a list of 10 best songs on youtube of more than half a mil songs this would be among the 10 best.
