Space
EpicLLOYD Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Hey!!!
I need my space.
Get up off my moon rock sucka (sucka) (sucka)
You get too close to me you'll mess up my orbit around you
Ain't you heard of gravity
We call it harmony baby
Don't get mad at me
Space is like a time thing ya dig
Girl I need it
Believe it
Quit asking when I'm coming, when I'm leaving
There are millions of billions of places in the stratosphere
Don't ring me up round 9 AM on Saturday to meet you there
I'm grown and I need my own big solar system and the black holes and UFO's that go along with them
Matter of fact, gimmie a big fat galaxy
And gimmie all of that inside of me
Cause I need
Space
But stay in proximity
Just please don't bump into me
Magnetically we're symmetry
But need to be two whole things that revolve each other perfectly cause riding me and clinging to my rocketship don't work for me
I'm a crater hater
Don't collide while I'm in motion
I could blow up in your face and girl I really hate exploding you don't understand it or the reasons I demand it but don't grant it and we'll surely end up smashed up planets in SPACE

SPACE
SPACE

My own rock with no one on it and when I'm bombing off my comet
I don't always need the comments
You gotta trust the stupid things I do are harmless
Cause you tie me to the ground the damages are astronomic
I'm sorry babe but now you made me be honest
If you contract my universe
Some dark chaos will be upon us
It's a promise I get hot but I won't burn through your ozone
My need to be alone ain't no fault of your own

See you had me from the big bang
Your grip is intact
In fact
There's nothing else I'd want to attract
It's just every now and then I need to go for a lap

But you're the world I whirl around girl
I'll always circle back (circle back) (circle back) (circle back)

Overall Meaning

In EpicLLOYD's song Space, the artist sings about his need for personal space and time in a relationship. He starts off by saying that he needs his own space and warns his partner not to get too close to him or it will mess up his orbit around her. He explains that space is like a time thing and he needs it to be able to function in a relationship. He asks his partner to quit asking when he's coming and going, and reminds her that there are millions of places in the stratosphere to visit. EpicLLOYD then goes on to say that he needs his own big solar system and all that comes with it, including black holes and UFOs. He finishes off by saying that he and his partner need to be whole things that revolve around each other perfectly, but if she doesn't grant him his need for space, they'll end up as smashed up planets in space.

The song is a commentary on the importance of personal space in relationships. EpicLLOYD believes that in order for a relationship to work, both partners need to have the space and time they need to thrive. He uses space as a metaphor for this need, implying that just as planets need their own space in the universe to function properly, people need their own space in a relationship to be healthy and happy.

The song also emphasizes the importance of communication in relationships. EpicLLOYD is honest with his partner about his need for space and explains it to her in a clear and direct way. He also acknowledges that his partner has a important role in his life, and he'll always come back to her no matter how much space he needs.

Overall, Space is a thoughtful and insightful commentary on the complexities of relationships and the importance of personal space within them.

I'm just gonna say Epic Lloyd is addictive. I could watch anything he's in on here or on both ERB channels. In fact I have. I'm a fan of him and what he does. His beats, lyrics, style everything is fascinating to me. As a person when you watch the behind the scenes he seems like that loud goof you just can't help but want to hang around because you know you'll spend a whole lot of your day laughing. Honestly though, can't get enough of this dude and more people need to see both him and Nice Peter for the masters they are in this craft of music.

@utubepunk

Lloyd needs his own improv show called Lloyd Out Loud.

@naoimporta58

You gotta admit Lloyd out Loud is a way cooler name . But Off the Top is an amazing show .

@utubepunk

***** Hi Troy. You might remember me from such films as No I Have Not and I'll Have to Check That Out Now. Thanks! ^_^

@LainaLynx

EpicLloyd's lyrics are always so slick! I can never just listen to his raps once or twice - the flow, the beats, everything is intertwined so well - awesome talent!

@IsusaWH

Allow me to say something :
I honestly , really , appreciate the fact that you stated both in the video and in the description that this is a paid promotion . Many do not do it , and the fact that you did make your subscribers understand and respect you for that (as you may know , many promotion video usually get many dislikes ,but no yours ).
You could've make it some kind of DRFH but you didn't , and I respect you for it.
That being said,
WHERE THE FUCK IS DIS RAP FOR HIRE ?!

@UnpronounceabIeName

And another thing is, he didn't even have to say he loved the thing he get's sponsored by, and he still mentioned it like that. :P

@ginadab11

everyone is bound by law to state when they are in a payed sponsorship. if someone says that they are not sponsored, then they are either telling the truth or breaking the law.

@IsusaWH

andrew reesman
 That's not right . Youtubers can use a certain product on their videos / use a specific theme without telling others its sponsered . It's their right.

@ginadab11

IsusaWH absolutely not. according to FTC regulations, you MUST disclose any form of payed sponsorship.
"Section 317 of the Communications Act of 1934, as amended, 47 U.S.C. § 317, requires broadcasters to disclose to their listeners or viewers if matter has been aired in exchange for money, services or other valuable consideration."
don't talk about things you have no knowege about.
