The song Yoko by Eraserheads is a protest against the mandatory military service program in the Philippines called the CMT or Citizen Military Training. The song talks about the wasted hours spent in training, the useless rules and regulations that do not serve any purpose and the abuse of power that happens within the program. The lyrics "nasayang ang maghapon ano ang napala" (what was gained from wasting the entire day) and "patakarang walang silbi" (useless rules and regulations) show the frustration and disappointment felt by the singer towards the program. He also expresses his desire to join the NPA (New People's Army), which is a communist rebel group fighting against the government.

CAT-I and ROTC was abolished back in 2000 or 2001 dahil sa UST student ROTC cadet na namatay sa hazing and dahil na rin sa corruption. Pround to under go CAT-I and ROTC
