I've been away too long awhile

I discovered a deep love within me that had been lost

I helped to release a lost part of myself and rediscovered it

I believed my suffering would never cease

But now I can be myself again
But I have regained my authenticity and self-expression

I had access to everything the world offered

But peace of mind is much more precious than gold
But inner tranquility is far more valuable than material wealth

I was in place where truth was hard to find
I was in a situation where sincerity and honesty were elusive

But it's all revealed in time
But eventually, the truth emerged

I carry myself confidently and with pride

Forgot how it felt to feel so good inside
I had forgotten what it was like to feel inner happiness

A fool would gain the world just to lose himself
It is foolish to pursue worldly success at the expense of losing oneself

I choose to live authentically and true to myself

I gotta light in my eyes for the world to see
I radiate positivity and joy for all to witness

Thank God the music's back inside of me
I am grateful to have rediscovered my creative and expressive spark

It was a long hard road to be a better man
It was a difficult journey to become a more virtuous person

But now I can be myself again

I feel a powerful sense of strength and vitality

I carry myself with pride and confidence in all situations
