You're only right on one count. Sylvanas was a high elf, then she was killed and brought back. Typically undead types inherit the pale and often portrayed as blueish hue skin tone, or purpley, sometimes grey. Her eyes are not glowing blue or white. She is an undead high elf. Simply put. Not night elf.

Read back on the lore I would say, She was indeed a High elf but got killed by arthas and turned into the Bansee queen, Her skin colour was described to be light blue/pale after her death. So Sanwyrth was right.
