@eriksatieofficiel

No, it's not "musique d'ameublement" yet.

@baronmeduse

I've orchestrated this.

1. Venemous Obstacles

Darkly
This immense part of the world is inhabited by only one man: a nigger.
He's so bored he could die laughting.
The shade of the ancients trees marks the hour: 9:17.
The hours.
Listen.
The toads are calling each other by their family names.
To help him think, the black man grasps his cerebellum in his right hand, his fingers spread apart.
From a distance, he looks like a distinguished physiologist.
Four nameless serpents enslave him, hanging from the coat tails of his uniform which grief and loneliness together have made shapeless.
At the edge of the river, an old mangrove slowly washes its filthy dirty roots.
This is not a favourable hour for lovers.

2. Morning Twilight (at mid-day)

The sun rose early and in good spirits.
The heat will be above normal, for the weather is prehistoric and set for a storm.
The sun is high in the heavens; it seems to be a nice kind of sun.
But let's not be too trusting.
Maybe it's going to burn up the harvest or strike a mighty blow: a suntroke.
Behind the barn, an ox is eating itself sick.

3. Granite Stampedes

The clock of the old deserted village is also going to strike a great blow:
Bad pollutions have a good time in the grass to strike thirteen.
A great deluge of rain pours out of the dust clouds;
the great mocking trees tug at each other's branches;
while the rugged granite boulders jostle each other,
not knowing where to settle in all this congestion.
Thirteen o'clock is about to strike, in the general terms of: one o'clock in the afternoon.
Alas! this time is illegal.

1. Obstacles venimeux (0:32)

Une pluie antédiluvienne sort des nuages de poussière ;
les grands bois ricaneurs se tirent par les branches ;
