Drama
Ese Wisper Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

The light fades up in a brand new heart
First page of a manuscript
Not complete but full of life
A life that struggles on

Seems like the drama never ends
A there are still words untold
The easy parts seem so far away
So far away

My own play, my own play
The show has reached the end
The curtains closing down

Still alone on this stage
I've played my tragic parts
Now I'm just waiting for the end
The end that takes me away

Looks like the last page is reached
And the light is fading out
But the show must keep on going
And the show goes on

My own play, my own play

The show has reached the end
The curtains closing down

Overall Meaning

The lyrics to Ese Wisper's song "Drama" describe a new beginning, the start of a new chapter in one's life. However, despite this hopeful start, the singer still faces struggles and unresolved issues. The "manuscript" is not complete, indicating that there is still more to come in the singer's story. The drama seems never-ending, with words and emotions left unspoken. The easy parts seem far away, indicating that the singer has faced many challenges and may not know how to move forward.

As the song progresses, the singer reflects on their past experiences, likening their life to a play. The show has reached its end, and the curtains are closing down, indicating that the singer's life is coming to a close. They have played their tragic parts and are now waiting for the end to take them away.

Despite the fading light and the end of the show, the singer acknowledges that the show must go on. The final lyrics, "The curtains closing down," suggest that the singer's life is coming to an end, but it also implies that the show will continue for others.

Overall, the song "Drama" is a reflection on life's struggles and the inevitability of the end. Through the metaphor of a play, Wisper expresses a sense of resignation, but also of hope and the continuation of life beyond the singer's story.

Addicted to abuse FL ends up going back to the ML who abused her. SFL, as always, has all of her lies and frame-ups believed, while pathetic FL gets abused. Of course, the ML is forgiven.
The writers didn't make the ML suffer enough for him to deserve to be forgiven.
The editing caused big gaps and leaps during the drama.

作者寫故事的時候太虐了🤔

What rubbish... Why would you go back to the guys that treated you like trash? Would love to see the FL move on to a better guy and not look back. The SML was quite a strong character and gentle in the beginning, shouldn't have made him negative in the end. He would have made a better pair with FL.

Exactly! He was the one who helped her get a fresh start after almost getting killed and helped her thru her pregnancy , childbirth, and new career. The ex was just a sperm donor at best. If he wanted that 2 legged vile trash bin, more power to him. That's his karma. Don't trash crap from anyone, and don't take trash back. You are not a sanitation worker! So he loves his new son and wants the baby momma back? Pftt! That sounds like his own personal problem to me, and nothing to do with the FL. Marry the 2nd ML and get pregnant ASAP. Enjoy a good life with a partner who loves and cherishes you. Let him adopt the son. A good life is the best revenge.
