That same year he teamed up with Detroit natives TnT and Mastamind and formed the group Natas, whose controversial debut Life After Death has been blamed for the suicide of a Tennessee youth. After another EP released in 1992 entitled Hellter Skkkelter dropped, Esham's most recognized and most controversial album 1993's KKKill the Fetus hit stores. The cover of this album depicted an unborn fetus and the title track was a song explaining why unfit, drug addicted mothers should chose abortion over birth. Esham followed up with Natas' Blaz4me and another solo Closed Casket. This was all a prelude to another controversial release, Doubelievengod. Tracks such as "Pop Pop", "Sunday School", and "Heaven" set an unprecedented mark for evilness in rap music. Esham later released his final album on RLP, Dead Flowerz. This was a transitional period into Esham's new Gothom label. Bruce Wayne/Gothom City introduced the world to the new age Esham. After this release the head nodding, trunk rattling Multikillionaire was released.
After a 2-year break, E hit the scene with the colorful Mail Dominance CD. This CD had everything from slow jams, retrospectives on lost ones, wickedness, to 50's samples. The next release is what many feel was the critically acclaimed WWW.com. In 2001, Esham released what would become his smoothest album, Tongues. Followed by Natas 6th release Godlike. Esham resume of albums includes 10 full albums, 4 EPs, 3 greatest hits compilations, and 6 releases with Natas. Not to mention working with and producing for Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Ghetto E, Kool Keith, Insane Clown Posse, and the Dayton Family. From 1989 to 2005, Esham has given fans his heavy doses of Reel Life, Heavy Mental music. Esham truly revolutionized Detroit's rap sound and is a local legend.
Eminem has listed Esham as an influence, as he mentions on his debut album, The Slim Shady LP. Esham's next album, A1 Yola, was released April 19th, 2005 by Psychopathic Records. Included with the album was also a DVD with videos to every song, making Esham the first artist to make a music video for every song on an album. Towards the end of 2005 Esham could no longer be a part of Psychopathic Records. His last concert under the label was at the 5th Annual Gathering of the Juggalos. He contributed to the Soopa Villainz project and later left. The split was on bad terms according to acidrap.com. The reason, also according to acidrap.com, was that Psychopathic Records did not allow him to use the name The Unholy,The Black Devil or the group NATAS. Athough bitterness was expressed by both parties directly after the split, Esham and Psychopathic have since publicly apoligized to one another, and stated that any past grievances are water under the bridge.
On June 6, 2006 (6/6/06) Esham released the Judgement Day box set, Rap's first $100 box set, available only through the Natas website. This set includes Judgement Day Vol.1 and 2, the previously unreleased Judgement Day Vol.3 and 4, a new 6 track Esham EP, and a DVD featuring concert footage from '04. Only 1,000 have been produced.
Acid
Esham Lyrics

So now it's time for me to rhyme in Acid Rap
A mic attack, so my brain starts to swell up
It's time to turn the volume up and raise the hell up
A microphone overdose, too much dope
Some suckaz choke but I hope they all croak
This is The U-N-H-O-L-Y
No need for applause ‘cuz I'm hella fly
On that Acid Rap, Like a stamp, you all based out
Once you hit it there's no turnin' back
It's that Acid Hip-Hop Rap that's like crack
I'm gonna hit ya with another fix
So I added the new-improved inside the mix
And ya hunger like a dope fiend, off of what I did
I got you all strung out, on acid
Shoot it, smoke it, sniff it, or just listen to it
Some try to copy my chemistry but can't do it
Can't get the formula right so it's fake dope
Suckaz be ass-bangin' soda with benzol
But I'm a real nigga from the streets of Motown
Where Rock and Roll started, now I'm the hardest artist on the planet
Some can't stand it and take it for granted
But I always recoup and they don't understand it
All in my rays of more ways I daze and faze
And never seem to amaze the one who blazed
The A-C-I-D, AC-DC
Pump it out your system it'll blow up your battery
I'm a hard rock, gunnin' down brothers like Billy the Kid
Do what I did, now you're doin' that acid
You're blind, to the fact I blowin' your mind
Got ya all tryin' to learn my line so hit rewind
The U-N-H-O-L-Y will take it back in time
In due time you'll find I flow time after time
I'm down for mine so stop the bitein'
Heard you tried to sound like me when you was recitein'
Thought it was a reverb of my voice but you're wrong son
I'm the people's choice and it's been like that from day one
I flow like a pro, it takes a life time to know
To bite my style you have to go to first
It gets worse as the verse lies, and attract flies
As I metamorphosize from Jekyll to Hyde
And this is for the suicidalist and Jesus Christ
I met Elvis in hell but who will tell the tale
Of everything that I did
Unless you put it on your tongue, and do that acid
This is a three minute high, or even more
Ya get a rush from the rhythm so even the score
You gotta pump it up to 10 again can I get an amen
It don't stop, until I say when
I'll make you're eardrums bleed for days
Acid Rap, Some treat it like coke and catch the wave
Niggaz be scared to listen some dared but didn't prepare so they can't
Some drop dead and faint
This is The Unholy, preachin' like a reverend
Except when I die I'm not goin' to heaven, yo
Because I write the @#%$ ya sniff
And when I bust on riff ‘cuz most niggaz can't deal with
What I'm sayin', some be prayin'
The Unholy is here to say that's how it's layin', acid
The lyrics to Esham's song "Acid" begins with a reference to a witch jumping on the singer's back, bringing him into the world of acid rap. The song is an exploration of the effects of acid, both literally and metaphorically. Esham describes the feeling of being under the influence of drugs through his lyrics and music, providing a vivid description of the experience. The lyrics are aggressive and include references to violence and death, reflecting the gritty reality of the drug culture. Throughout the song, Esham asserts his superiority in the rap game, emphasizing that he is the originator of the acid rap genre and that others can only copy him. The final line, "The Unholy is here to say that's how it's layin', acid," summarizes the message of the song: that the world of acid rap is dark and dangerous, but Esham is the master of it.
