After Daniel, Pascal, Kevin, Daniel and former drummer Michael "Micha" Malitzki already reached some achievements with their old bands and among other things supported artists like Machinemade God or Callejon, they searched for a new challenge. At the beginning of 2010, they formed Eskimo Callboy along with Sebastian aka Sushi. Before release, tracks like Monsieur Moustache Vs. Clitcat or Hey Mrs. Dramaqueen received more than 10,000 plays on their Myspace page in the first two weeks.
as of 2020 they have released five full length albums:
"Bury Me In Vegas" 2012 on Redfield Records
"We Are The Mess" 2014 on Redfield Records
"Crystals" 2015 on Spinefarm Records, Airforce1 Records (Universal Music Germany)
"The Scene" 2017 on Century Media Records
"Rehab" 2019 on Century Media Records

Rehab
Eskimo Callboy Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Baby, take me to rehab, it's going down
Baby, take me to rehab, it's going down
Baby, take me to rehab, it's going down
Always staying hard on track
On my way to hell and back
Always high and I never rest
People are calling me overdone
But ain't nothing hurting the hardest one
Fuck all the warnings, I'm ready to fall
My fingers are up when I'm paying the toll
I'm feeling like I'm static 'cause the noise is just silent
I don't wanna hear you 'cause I'm divine in my failure
I can't hear your voice, but I keep on trying
Prayers going unheard in a void
You will never know what is hiding, what is hiding inside
You will never know what is breaking, what is breaking my mind
And I'll crash down all the doubts along the way
You will never get hold of me, baby, take me to rehab
Baby, take me to rehab, it's going down
Baby, take me to rehab, it's going down
These goddamn voices in my head
It's causing it to almost crack
Don't you tell me how to act
Don't need you breaking my neck
Don't need to be put up against the wall
I don't give a fuck and move on, that is all
I know it's time, I can finally confess
That I wanna live in this beautiful mess
I'm feeling like I'm static 'cause the noise is just silent
I don't wanna hear you 'cause I'm divine in my failure
I can't hear your voice, but I keep on trying
Prayers going unheard in a void
You will never know what is hiding, what is hiding inside
You will never know what is breaking, what is breaking my mind
And I'll crash down all the doubts along the way
You will never get hold of me, baby, take me to rehab
Baby, take me to rehab
Somebody else (somebody else) is hiding deep under my skin
Nobody else (nobody else) is paying for all of my sins
You will never know what is hiding, what is hiding inside
You will never know what is breaking, what is breaking my mind
And I'll crash down all the doubts along the way
You will never get hold of me, baby, take me to rehab.
The song "Rehab" by Eskimo Callboy is a reflection of how the singer is struggling with addiction and the need for help. The repeating chorus, "Baby, take me to rehab, it's going down," is a plea for someone to take him to rehab and save him from his addiction. The first verse talks about how the singer is always on the go and is constantly doing drugs to keep up. He acknowledges that people judge him for his addiction, but he's not ready to give up just yet. He knows he's on the verge of a mental breakdown but is ready to pay the price to feel alive.
The second verse is about the voices in his head and how they're causing him to almost crack. He doesn't want anyone to tell him how to act or control him. He's aware of his mistakes and wants to live in them. The pre-chorus talks about how he's static because all he hears is silence, but he keeps trying to listen to prayers that are going unheard in a void. The bridge mentions how there's somebody hiding deep under his skin and how nobody else is paying for his sins. The song ends with a final plea to be taken to rehab.
