Chapter I
Estatic Fear Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

The feeble leafs decline,
Enshrined in downing deep
The mourn abandoned plains,
Laid down in sombre sleep
Misty shades engulf the sky
Like past, worn memories
The bird's song fills the whispering breeze
With autumns melody

The lunar pale grim shape
At evening's sight renews
It's silented wail relieves
Repressed thoughts anew
I hear the lonesome choir
Of fortunes past my way
Disdained in fiery weeps
Throughout my every day
These skies I hail and treasure thee,
Most pleasant misery
Not pittes thorn I shelter thine
Mysterious harmony

Draw on most pleasant night
Shade my lorn exposed sight
For my grief's when shadows told
Shall be eased in mist enfold
Why should the foolish's hope
Thy unborn passioned cry
Exhaust unheard
Beneath this pleasent sky?

For if the dusking day declined
Could delight be far behind?

Overall Meaning

The lyrics to Estatic Fear's song Chapter I depict the beauty and melancholy of autumn, with the feeble leaves declining and the abandoned plains lying in sombre sleep. Misty shades engulf the sky, reminiscent of past memories. The bird's song fills the whispering breeze with a melody that signifies the change of season. The lunar pale grim shape renews at evening's sight, releasing repressed thoughts anew. The lonesome choir of fortunes past my way fills the air, disdained in fiery weeps throughout every day. The skies are hailed and treasured, despite the misery they bring. The mysterious harmony is not sheltered from pity's thorn, but instead embraced.

The singer calls on the shadows of the night to shade his exposed sight, to ease his grief which is told in shadows. The foolish's hope of a potential passioned cry exhausts unheard beneath this pleasant sky. The singer questions whether delight could be far behind, suggesting that joy is not a far-fetched thought even amidst melancholy.

Overall, the lyrics convey a sense of introspection and contemplation, with a focus on the beauty and sadness that permeates the changing of season and the passage of time.

I forgot this band for many years, until today watching a tv serie someone said the word "CHAPTERS" and at that moment I remembered that I loved this album with the list of songs only called "chapters" (Chapter I, chapter II etc) but I could not remember the name of the band, until I investigated and finally came up with Estatic Fear! Welcome to my life AGAIN!🖤
