At Last
Etta James Lyrics
At last
My love has come along
My lonely days are over
And life is like a song
Oh yeah, yeah
At last
The skies above are blue
My heart was wrapped up in clover
I found a dream
That I could speak to
A dream that I can call my own
I found a thrill
To press my cheek to
A thrill that I've never known
Oh yeah, yeah
You smiled, you smiled
Oh and then the spell was cast
And here we are in Heaven
For you are mine
At last

When I'm on my death bed, I want this song up at full blast with everyone toasting to the life I lived with a huge smile on their faces thinking about all the times we laughed and had a good time.

@ilyt ive picked the song for my funeral and its "wild horses" by the rolling stones. But this is good too.

I have no fond memories in my life, besides my childhood. Everything after is just a disaster. My deathwish is that none attends my funreal
