Euromasters Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Rotterdam, Amsterdam
Ik weet allebij niej waar da ligt, of da da bestaat
Hue, perd
Daar heb je Dimitri
Eens eve vrage
He! Dimitri!
-Joah?!
Ik heb nu ook een houseplaatje gemaakt
Je vin'em vas goe, en je wil 'em vas remixe
Dan moeje 's eve luistere Dimitri!
-ALLES NAAR DE KLOTE!

Dan moeje 's eve luistere Dimitri!

-ALLES NAAR DE KLOTE!

Hm? alle koeien van de stal!

He! Dimitri!

Wij doen niet mee aan de
Moduh! (?X)

He Dimitri, wa denkje zou Robin het draaie?

Overall Meaning

The lyrics of Euromasters' song "Alles Naar De Klote" are difficult to interpret due to their ungrammatical language and slang. However, the song seems to depict a group of people who are unsure of the locations of Rotterdam and Amsterdam. They mention someone named Dimitri, who has apparently made a house music track that they want him to listen to. The lyrics repeatedly shout the title of the song, "Alles Naar De Klote," which roughly translates to "everything going to hell." In the end, they ask Dimitri about whether Robin will play the track.

The song seems to be a tongue-in-cheek commentary on the house music scene of the 1990s, particularly in the Netherlands. The lyrics are filled with slang and references that are difficult for non-Dutch speakers to understand fully. However, the repetitive use of the phrase "Alles Naar De Klote" suggests a sense of rebellion or nihilism. The lyrics seem to suggest that even if the world is falling apart, they will still enjoy their music and participate in the dance culture.

wow, memory lane. this song (well, a slightly different version of it) was on a cassette tape ("Techno 3: Hardcore" was the name, some bootleg thing passed around in the 90s) and i always wanted to know the name or the artist or... most of all... if anyone could translate the Dutch conversation between what seems like a guy and a donkey!

(EDIT... and now some googling gives me the answer. damn, the internet is marvelous)

Rotterdam? Amsterdam? I don't know where both are, or if they exist. Huuuuu [to spur on a horse] horse... There's Dimitri... Let's ask...
Hey Dimitri!

@aeonmort

"Alles naar de klote" does not have literal translation to English. Your "kloten" are a mans balls. So literally its says "everything to your balls".
The meaning could be translated to "everything fucked up" Or "fuck everything up." It could be used for things: My car was on fire and is now "naar de klote". But also to yourself. "After drinking a gallon of alcohol and staying awake for 33 hours I was completely "Naar de klote".

@aeonmort or demolished could be the right word
