Oh really? They've always been assholes, have they? Juries put a stopper in block voting, and reduce novelty act impact. They also help make sure that smaller countries (like mine!) stand a chance. Iceland and the UK got their placings largely thanks to the juries.

Actually, it placed twelfth in the semi-final. But that year, rather than the top 10 going to the finals, the juries selected the tenth song to go to the finals.

I remember after I saw the music video thinking that this might win. I was amazed when it finished last in the final. The chorus is so good. If Cascada had recorded it, it probably would've been a hit. Admittedly, the live version of this song was a bit sketchy, but, still. Finland were robbed that year, I feel.

I remember first hearing this song in November 2008 and being blown away, I knew Finland had to choose it and when Waldo's People won Euroviisut 2009 I hyped them up and went through their back catalogue with all the hits in late 90s they had in Scandinavia. Sadly the 2 blonde backing vocalists didn't do any favors, one of them was out of sync during the first chorus but the staging and LED screens with trains were still awesome, last place came as such a shock to everyone! and then it was revealed they were the jury wildcard in 1st semifinal actually placing 12th, I JUST CAN'T BELIEVE IT! On a brighter note... this song still holds the record of highest scored last placed song in a final! also narrowly peeped in UK Top 100 chart at #100, I'll never get bored of this song, still a dead catchy bop.

It is a very good song. I loved it from day 1. Maybe people hated the staging and I can't blame them for that. Could've been better. But if a song is heard after a decade then it has succeeded. No matter what

For me one of the best esc entries, really. They were amazing, the song and voices. The problem is they were underrated. Iceland deserved at least a top 10.

This was a winner to me. The vocalists' harmonies were spot on and the tune was fun and catchy. I honestly thought this would have been at least in the top five -- but last? That's insane. But they were second to the last to perform, and historically that puts one at a great disadvantage because most viewers have already voted by then. The same thing happened to Ireland in 2013. Ryan Dolan was fantastic, and yet he was the last to perform and came in last as a result.

What are you talking about? The lines didn't open until the last song was performed. Running order as a factor of placings is overrated. But if we go down that road, it's considered far more beneficial to be among the last songs on stage.

Song is absolutely amazing but poorly executed on the stage. I don't doubt that when listening to the radio edit it'll easily make the top ten.
