Autumn Leaves
Eva Cassidy Lyrics

The falling leaves drift by my window
The falling leaves of red and gold
I see your lips the summer kisses
The sunburned hands I used to hold

Since you went away the days grow long
And soon I'll hear old winter's song
But I miss you most of all my darling
When autumn leaves start to fall
Since you went away the days grow long
And soon I'll hear old winter's song
But I miss you most of all my darling
When autumn leaves start to fall

I miss you most of all my darling
When autumn leaves start to fall

My gosh, she passed away that very same year. I hope she is resting peacefully.

Yes a tragically very early death. But hee music lives on

@HMichael Hawkins I wonder if you do exist at all... how dare you write such statements, on which you have no clue?

Franz

@Elizabeth Linsay How do you back this statement?

@WORD FOR THE SPIRIT She had a melanoma on her back removed but didn't bother going to her follow-up appointment and it regenerated and took her life. She was only 33.

@Lawanda Finch Well, my gosh, Lawanda, I want to thank you for providing all of us that which has been missing since time began. That would be the incontrovertible proof of the absolute existence of some old, bearded man in the sky who has created everything that exists. Many have sought proof there is a flying teapot circling Mars, but no one has been able to absolutely and without question been able to prove its existence. And now you have proven the unquestionable evidence that the old, bearded man in the sky exists and is probably responsible for creating a flying teapot to circle Mars and everything else in the universe. You have my immense gratitude for giving us all that unquestionable proof by simply professing his existence which permits you to pray to him.

I always thought praying was simply talking to yourself, but now you have convinced me you are not just talking to yourself when you pray, but you are communicating with this almighty man in the sky with his beard. I bet you usually ask for something in your prayers, and, because this bearded old man exists, you always get that for which you ask. I wonder if you would ask him to stop the violence in the Middle East, where it seems people are killing each other because they have different beliefs in what kind of a person this old, bearded man might be. I'm sure he was the one who stopped the killing of each other in Northern Ireland over the same issue. I bet you are a person who knows about all the violence, murder, rape, and abuse people from different tribes and nations have been involved in to prove their view of this god is the right one and others are wrong. I still don't understand why your god allowed such inhumanity between people to happen, but I'm sure you will explain it as simply "god's will." It still doesn't make sense to me, but then I'm not as enlightened as you are on these matters.

Anyway, thank you for the incontrovertible proof of the existence of the bearded old man in the sky. Never mind there is more empirical evidence of the evolution of life forms in the sea, some of whom did flop up on the beach and eventually evolved into more sophisticated forms of life than there is for this old, bearded man in the sky. But you nailed it for all of us with your proof. Thanks again.

This is out-of-this-world beautiful. Every time I hear this performance, I am filled with a restless need to somehow convey my appreciation. The 'like'-button just does not cut it.

This is simply one of the best performances in the history of recorded music. Her incredible voice, the guitar, the piano, the pacing and incredible emotions put into it. Tears me up every time I watch this.

Atort Aerials

Kind of doubt that one. 🤣

@Braxton Koons You are wrong about that.
