Lacrymosa
Evanescence Lyrics
I can't change who I am
Out on your own, cold and alone again
Can this be what you really wanted, baby?
Now that you're gone, feel like myself again
Grieving the things I can't repair and willing
Do not you blame it on me and set your guilt free
I don't wanna hold you back now
I can't change who I am, not this time
I won't lie to keep you near me
And in this short life there's no time to waste on giving up
My love wasn't enough
And you can blame it on me and set your guilt free
And I don't wanna hold you back now, love
Ooh ooh ooh

Lacrymosa is one of the songs on Evanescence third album "The open door". In the first part of the song, the original beginning of the "Lacrimosa" in Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's "Requiem" is mixed with drums. After a few measures the choir begins and the voice is added to the "classical extract". Harmonies are modulated though and in the second verse the common Evanescence instrumentation is used.

Marie McLellan-Hasty
on My Immortal
These wounds won't seem to heal, this pain is just too real. There's too much that time cannot erase...But you still have all of me
Marie McLellan-Hasty
on Bring Me to Life
Frozen inside without your touch, Without your love...All this time, I can't believe I couldn't see..you were there in front of me. Bring me to life, I've been living a lie, there's nothing left inside...Save me from the nothing I've become.
