1. An american girl group composed of three sisters (Amber, Sarah, and Julia Ross), which was formed in the small town of Indiana, Pennsylvania.
The three sisters started writing and performing when youngest sister Julia was only eight.
With Sarah on the drums, Amber on the guitar, and Julia on keys, Everlife set out to play for anyone that would listen. Later, they were playing over 120 shows a year.
Their first #1 radio hit, Lead the Way, first found prominent rotation on Pittsburgh's The Fish.
Members of Everlife relocated to Nashville, Tennessee and were quickly signed to SHELTERecords. The girls worked with prominent producers Kevan Cyka and Dan Needham to produced their self-titled debut project.
After signing with Disney, they contributed singles to several Disney soundtracks. They were eventually dropped from Walt Disney Records in 2007, but continued a strong relationship with Disney. They even opened for Miley Cyrus on the last six dates of her Best of Both Worlds Tour from January 25 in Lafayette, LA to January 31 in Miami, FL.
Later they signed to label 97 Records.

The members were Dwayne Lomax, Rod Williams, Delores Whyte, Don Whyte, Eddie Taylor, Larry Johnson, Ron Payton, Lloyd Collier, and Leander Sanders.
A deal with 20th Century Fox Records wasn't succesfull, but the band managed to release one LP (#1 in 1981, sometimes called Everlife No.1) and two singles (You're My Superhero in 1980 and Have a Good Time / Dream Machine in 1981).

Where is the light
I'm crawling around in a haze
I'm making a vow I'm taking a stand
I'm starting to change my ways
[Hook]
What I need to know and its time to go
[Chorus]
I'm about to walk I'm about to run
I'm about to lose
Lose my way
I can hardly talk I can barely see
I'm counting on you (lead the way)
You lead the way
Somebody said would you be there for me
I find it hard to believe
If I'm hearing you right
I'm gonna give up the fight
And let you have all of me
[Hook-Chorus]
Be my eyes oh be my voice be my everything
Its my choice Its my choice
[Chorus]
Oh oh yeah
You lead the way
I can hardly talk I can barely see
I'm counting on you
You lead the way
The lyrics in "Lead the Way" by Everlife speak to the feeling of being lost and unable to find one's way. The opening lines express a sense of desperation as the singer wonders where to find help and light while feeling lost amidst the haze. However, as the chorus progresses, the singer's attitude shifts, as they declare a vow and a determined stand to change their ways. The singer recognizes that they need guidance and knows there is a place to be, where they can find it. The chorus repeats the plea for someone to "lead the way," as the singer acknowledges their own inability to navigate on their own.
In the second verse, the singer hears another voice asking for support, and they express skepticism about being able to help. However, instead of fighting, they give themselves over to this voice and accept the help that they need. The final repetition of the chorus underscores the theme of reliance on others to find one's way.
Overall, "Lead the Way" by Everlife is a powerful ballad about the struggle to overcome personal obstacles and find guidance in the process. It speaks to the human need for support during difficult times and the value of relying on others to help us get back on track.

Such a shame they went mainstream. Always pray for these artists. Music is a MAJOR weapon of the saints, and satan is always gunning for them.
