Bub also recruited his former drum teacher, Dave, asking if he'd like to join. Dave was hesitant at first because of personal obligations, but eventually became one of the most enthusiastic members of the band.
A little while later, Bub recruited Al, the best guitar soloist he knew. Al and Erik had briefly been in a band together in the years past. Al, wanting a creative outlet was attracted to the prospect. Dave and Al immediately hit it off, often breaking into jam sessions during practice. Their love of classic rock and blues was a huge bonding point.
After a couple of years of playing in Bub's basement, and trying out two other bass players, they finally landed Quinn. Quinn's love of Celtic Punk, Ska Punk and Punk music was refreshing. Young blood, quick fingers, and creative bass lines was just the kick in the pants that Every Third Sunday needed.
Originally formed by Bub and Erik in Cleveland, Ohio, Every Third Sunday is an up-tempo post-punk / alternative rock band with influences from punk, alternative rock and a touch of Pop music.
When I'm Gone
Every Third Sunday Lyrics

How the time moved more slowly
I remember things I've done
And I need to say I'm sorry
When I'm gone
I want you to remember
When I'm gone
When I'm gone
Nothing lasts forever so love me now
While we're still here
Looking back I've realized
I should have treated you with more care
Taken way before your time
How quickly I realized that life can be unfair
When I'm gone
I want you to remember
When I'm gone
Good times we used to share
When I'm gone
Nothing lasts forever so love me now
While we're still here
Well I've come to realize
We don't know when it's our time
So make the most of what you've got
Learn to seize the day before you say goodbye
When I'm gone
I want you to remember
When I'm gone
Good times we used to share
When I'm gone
Nothing lasts forever so love me now
While we're still here
