After their (unexpected) name change during summer 2009, Evolove released their first EP, 2012: Countdown to the End in November of the same year, and have been performing live and producing music videos non stop since. They are currently slated to perform 4 August dates on the 2010 Vans Warped Tour, and are currently in the final running to be the new FreeCreditScore.com band.
Let Me In

You can see it for miles
Something's wrong
You haven't been yourself
You've been distant and secretive.
Why would you say nothing's wrong
When its written on your face
Let me in, let me in
You're so far from where I'm standing
Let me know, let me know
I can't help if you won't let me in.
Where's the light, the one that used to shine
It has long burned out and lost its glow
Where's your fight? Are you just giving up?
Tell me what to do.
Why would you say nothing's wrong
When it's written on your face
Let me in, let me in
You're so far from where I'm standing
Let me know, let me know
I can't help if you won't let me in.
I hope one day you'll find what you're seeking
I know one day you'll show what you're hiding.
What you're hiding,. What are you hiding?
Let me in, let me in
You're so far from where I'm standing
Let me know, let me know
I can't help if you won't let me in.
The lyrics of Evolove's song Let Me In deal with the struggle of trying to connect with someone who appears to be keeping their emotions hidden away. The singer of the song recognizes that there is something wrong in the person's behavior and is trying to offer a shoulder to lean on, but they feel shut out. The chorus is a plea to let down the wall that's been built up to keep others out and to allow someone to be there for them.
The metaphor of the light that used to shine is used to paint a picture of a once-bright personality that has lost its spark. The singer wants to understand where the fight has gone and stresses the importance of communication in a relationship. The words "let me in" are repeated throughout the song, and it's clear that the repeated plea is not just a demand for physical proximity, but also an emotional connection that has been lacking.
Overall, Let Me In is a song about trying to understand and be there for someone who may be struggling with personal issues. It's a reminder that even when we try to hide our feelings from others, the signs are usually apparent to those who care about us.
