Exile's "Make Love" is a sensual ballad that explores the rush of passion between two people. The lyrics express the desire to start making love and the need to seize the moment. The opening line, "Let's make love" is repeated throughout the song, amplifying the urgency and intensity of the message. The artist explains that the woman in question is a "sexy girl" with a deep, mysterious body that cannot be fully expressed through words.
The song also touches on the themes of innocence and purity, as exemplified in the phrase "Virgin Road." Despite the strong feelings of desire and attraction, the artist stresses the need to preserve the sanctity of the moment. The final verse speaks eloquently about the power of body language, gesture, and silence in conveying intense emotions.
In summary, "Make Love" offers a poignant window into the human experience of desire, longing, and intimacy. The song's lyrics are simple and straightforward, yet incredibly effective at capturing the mood of the moment.
