(Someday, Someday)

(Someday, Someday
The lyrics to Exile's song Someday convey a message of hope, perseverance, and determination to overcome obstacles and reach one's goals. The song encourages listeners to believe in themselves and their abilities, even when faced with challenges that may cause doubt or hesitation. The opening lines "Someday, Someday / If we keep walking like this / Will we eventually / Reach our destination?" suggest a journey or path with an uncertain outcome, but the singer is resolute in their conviction to hold on to their unchanging feelings and follow a path that will leave behind evidence of their soul.
The song speaks to a sense of purpose, and the belief that even if one may falter or second-guess themselves along the way, they can still find meaning and significance in their journey. The lines "Even if we hesitate / In finding the answers / It will always feel like we were right" convey the importance of self-assurance and trust in one's intuition. Despite the countless dreams that have been fulfilled since meeting the person they sing about, the singer's heart still thinks of them. Their wish is for that person to continue living true to themselves, holding close their unchanging feelings, while they continue to sing of their unwavering hope.
