Exile Lyrics

The lyrics of Exile's song "Today" tell the story of a couple that seems to be drifting apart despite their love for each other. The singer regrets that he was unable to convey his feelings to his lover and that they continue to live their daily lives as if nothing happened. The song expresses the frustration of the singer's inability to connect with his lover, even though they both know that they are deeply in love.
The lyrics suggest that the couple has been through some rough times, but they continue to hold on to their love for each other. The singer is frustrated that his lover seems to have someone else in her life, but when she confesses her feelings for him, he cannot deny that he still loves her. The song suggests that love can be complicated, and that even when two people are deeply connected, they can still find themselves drifting apart.
The song's lyrics are supported by a beautiful melody that underscores the emotional depth of the lyrics. The use of gentle harmonies and soft instrumentation creates a wistful mood that perfectly captures the essence of the lyrics. The song's emotional power lies in its ability to speak directly to the listener's heart and to evoke feelings of love, longing, and regret.
