thank you for sharing your story. imagining you carry your little sister while this song playing and calming her down is truly heartwarming.
wish you the best! continue being a very kind human!

I can share you my story if you want to read it continue, if not, then just dont. feel free to read.
I try to keep it short : When I was living isolated and depressed from 19 to 22 y.o. I felt like a failure and had suicidal thoughts each day. It was hell for me. Three years and I still kept going and today I have absolutely no idea how I did it because everything was draining my life energy. Even making coffee was too much. Depression is so hard to overcome but I did it. Now I am 24, turning 25 in 3 weeks and the last couple of years I evolved so much, my personality has become more mature and I feel way stronger than I was. Hitting rock bottom was a good life lesson for me. Now I am working full time and doing things I really like to do. I am enjoying life.
I felt truly free after depression and it was like I am breathing the fresh air for the first time in my life. Then i realized How miserable i must have been living and doing. Sometimes I even share a tear when I am doing super fine because I wasnt doing fine for so long, even in my youth, I was dealing constantly with depressive episodes. So after defeating it, I am finally free. A little too late in my opinion but it is okay. It was age 23, the first time I felt full redemption.

And there is a certain song that calmed me down and gave me positive vibes and energy. Everytime I hear it, I do remember those times where I was sitting at home wishing to die but then seeing myself here and now, in the future. Changed and healthy. Today nothing can stop me. I think this is growing up and being able to bear any pain that is to come on my way.

A girl I fell inlove with growing up showed me this song it was on a mix cd and she never knew what the song was called or even the band name, someone else made the cd for her but I remembered this song always and when I first heard back in 2008 it hit me hard like I've never heard this song before and now that I've heard it's stuck in me forever and it was always great to listen to it. I used to carry my little sister in my arms and put this on everytime she was upset and it would calm her down the face she had was the exact one I did everytime I heard this which was of confusion and amazement. Confused at how band could make this and amazed that they did make this. My little sisters a lot older now but I wonder if she thinks about that time that I held her and put this on. Sometimes I wonder if my ex still listens to this and thinks about me sometimes I listen to this and think about her and everything we went through. I found the band name and song 8 years later and and two years after we left each other and I'll never stop listening to it and I'll never stop thinking about her.

This is one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard in my life.

promisonl

So beautiful.  This is the kind of music that has the power to make you want to be a better person.  Even if there isn't anything particularly wrong with you.  We can always improve and go out of our way to be kind.  Very calming music, I love it

Bliss in it's raw, musical form. I listen to this, and all of my problems float away.
