Memories of a time gone by in my life when I stayed in ear shot of the radio to hear songs like this. I was 11 and hugging the radio listening to this.

Great song

Great song, great singer.

Pretty cool touch- Columbia records even put Edie’s face on the label. The same goes for Steve Lawrence, Dion, Tony Bennett and others. A question for Mr. 45prof- how long did Columbia do that for? Thank you.

co-written by J Keller? is that Jerry Keller of “Here Comes Summer” fame?

@the45prof98

Different guy: songwriter Jack Keller: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_songs_written_by_Jack_Keller

Listening to it this afternoon I felt it was Carole King’s composition but now surprised to find her husband wrote the lyrics. Carole did write ‘I don’t want to go to the party with you’ for Eydie and Steve. 2:22

Great lyrics:
You might as well surrender now,
I'm gonna get ya some way somehow,....
