During that period, second guitar player Gillespie joined the band and they all started to work on band’s first studio album ”Dog Life” (CD/MC). Unfortunatelly, vocalist Nenad left the band just weeks before studio, and Coyot took his place as a lead singer, continuing to expand his enormous musical talents and skills.
After the album release, Gillespie also left the band, and band continued to play as a trio. At the same time, Coyot starts to take active role as a trombone player as well, and the band started musical exploration of other genres (reggae, dub, drum & bass) making its own specific mixture of styles, and creating their own unique sound which many people liked immediately. All that lead to expanding the line up again and Nino joined the band as a second guitar playe.
Soon after, Eyesburn recorded their most popular album ”Fool Control”(CD/MC) which showed the band`s ability to grow and solidified them in the music
bussiness.
As a confirmation of their growing popularity they received an invitation to perform for the pre-election tours “IT’S TIME” and “USE IT”(your brain) to bring Milosevich’s political system down. This tour Eyesburn promoted themselves around the country playing in towns they never played before.
Recording soundtrack for the most popular youth film “Munje”, band expanded into wider popularity. They have play and tour mostly in Serbia, Macedonia, Bosnia and Slovenia. They are currently one of the most active bands on scene in Yugoslavia.
During 2001-2002, Eyesburn participated in EXIT festival in Novi Sad where they performed along with Tony Allen, Asian Dub Foundation, and Fun-da-mental.
They also performed as guests for big Belgrade concert of Lee Scratch Perry, (together with Ank Steady Spear), Burning Spear, and bands like Pro Pain.
Eyesburn brought back their enormous energy with the new project ”Gabau” (CD/MC) wich represents specific turnover to reggae sound and continues with another project featuring Ank Steady, “Cool Fire”(CD/MC).
The following album “Solid” in Serbia, May 2003. on B-92. It was hailed by fans and critics as their best album to date. Showcasing a matured and developed sound that explored their their hard core metal roots.
All that led to a invitation from Max Cavalera to do one song for the Soulfly album “Prophecy”,(Moses),and to play on the 2004 Prophecy Europe Tour.
Also, Coyote apears on the new Soulfly album “Dark Ages[/album” in 2005. Eyesburn was on tour in Serbia and later in other countries (Bosnia, Slovenia, Austria, Bulgaria as guests of Soulfly and Black Sabbath.

Divide
Eyesburn Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Inside
I own medication for survival of creation
I own medication, it`s illegal, must be wise
I own super program, wicked people termination
I own medication for survival of creation!
Who knows the way we`re movin` at the babylon
Watch out watch out we need some action
Take a stand - fight them original!
Spiritly wise against materialize
The lyrics to Eyesburn's song Divide paint a vivid picture of a world divided into two- the spiritual and the material. The first verse talks about the ownership of medication for survival of creation, which seems to be a metaphor for some sort of inner strength or power that helps the singer navigate through the ups and downs of life. However, this medication is illegal, and the singer acknowledges the importance of being wise when taking it.
The second verse is more explicit in its message- the singer owns a super program that is designed to terminate wicked people. The use of the word "terminate" suggests violence, and this could be a reference to the singer's ability to stand up to those who threaten the spiritual realm. The chorus calls for action and warns of the dangers of Babylon- a metaphorical representation of the corrupt and materialistic world. The final line of the chorus, "fight them original", encourages listeners to stay true to their spiritual roots and resist the materialistic temptations of Babylon.
Overall, the lyrics to Divide are a call to arms for those who seek spiritual enlightenment in a world that values materialism above all else. The singer reinforces the importance of staying true to one's beliefs and values, even in the face of adversity. The use of metaphors and strong imagery add to the powerful message of the song.
