During that period, second guitar player Gillespie joined the band and they all started to work on bandās first studio album āDog Lifeā (CD/MC). Unfortunatelly, vocalist Nenad left the band just weeks before studio, and Coyot took his place as a lead singer, continuing to expand his enormous musical talents and skills.
After the album release, Gillespie also left the band, and band continued to play as a trio. At the same time, Coyot starts to take active role as a trombone player as well, and the band started musical exploration of other genres (reggae, dub, drum & bass) making its own specific mixture of styles, and creating their own unique sound which many people liked immediately. All that lead to expanding the line up again and Nino joined the band as a second guitar playe.
Soon after, Eyesburn recorded their most popular album āFool Controlā(CD/MC) which showed the band`s ability to grow and solidified them in the music
bussiness.
As a confirmation of their growing popularity they received an invitation to perform for the pre-election tours āITāS TIMEā and āUSE ITā(your brain) to bring Milosevichās political system down. This tour Eyesburn promoted themselves around the country playing in towns they never played before.

During 2001-2002, Eyesburn participated in EXIT festival in Novi Sad where they performed along with Tony Allen, Asian Dub Foundation, and Fun-da-mental.
They also performed as guests for big Belgrade concert of Lee Scratch Perry, (together with Ank Steady Spear), Burning Spear, and bands like Pro Pain.
Eyesburn brought back their enormous energy with the new project āGabauā (CD/MC) wich represents specific turnover to reggae sound and continues with another project featuring Ank Steady, āCool Fireā(CD/MC).
The following album āSolidā in Serbia, May 2003. on B-92. It was hailed by fans and critics as their best album to date. Showcasing a matured and developed sound that explored their their hard core metal roots.
All that led to a invitation from Max Cavalera to do one song for the Soulfly album āProphecyā,(Moses),and to play on the 2004 Prophecy Europe Tour.
Also, Coyote apears on the new Soulfly album āDark Ages[/albumā in 2005. Eyesburn was on tour in Serbia and later in other countries (Bosnia, Slovenia, Austria, Bulgaria as guests of Soulfly and Black Sabbath.

Exodus
Eyesburn Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
wicked!
Men and people will fight ya down
When ya see Jah light
Let me tell you if you're not wrong
[tell me why?]
Everything is alright
Through the roads of creation
We're the generation
Trod through great tribulation
Exodus
Movement of Jah people
...
Open your eyes [yo!] and look within
Are you satisfied with the life you're living?
We know where we're going
We know where we're from
We're living Babylon, we're going to our fatherland
Exodus
Movement of Jah people
The beginning of this song pays respect to the hardcore scene in Belgrade and then brings greetings from Haile Selassie, the emperor of Ethiopia and the Rastafarian messiah. The lyrics then speak about the struggle one faces when they have seen the light of Jah or God, and how people will put up a fight against them. But the message is that everything is alright if you stay true to yourself and your beliefs. The lyrics then go on to talk about walking through the roads of creation with the realization that they are part of a generation that has gone through great tribulation. It is a call for people to come together and be part of the exodus, or movement, of Jah people, which is the common purpose and journey towards their fatherland.
The chorus then repeats the phrase "Exodus, movement of Jah people", emphasizing the importance of this movement and the significance it holds for those involved. The song then encourages the listener to open their eyes and look within to see if they are truly satisfied with the life they are living. The lyrics point out that they know where they are going and where they are from, and that they are currently living in Babylon but heading towards their fatherland. The song ends with the chorus once again repeating the phrase "Exodus, movement of Jah people" as a call to all to join in this journey towards their spiritual home.
