You met six months ago
He's sweet on you
And he's been carried on a tide of joy
The only way to go
New clique,
You've met his family and all his friends
Was it a rude speech
By the best man
Bet your mother couldn't wait to
Break down and cry so
Go, please go
Because your hair is like a storm cloud
And the sharks swim in your eyes
And I say go, please go
Because your tongue is like a serpent
And your mouth is full of lies
Seeing you here, well that's no surprise
That's no surprise
Good life, I hope you have one
In a nice house
With nice things too
Good job, I hope he keeps one
And you in the style that you're accustomed to
Don't cry because I can't take it
And when you go, I'm gonna do the same
I'm gonna slam the door, pace the floor
Fall down on my knees
I'm gonna cry out your name and say
Go, please go
Because your hair is like a storm cloud
And the sharks swim in your eyes
And I say go, please go
Because your tongue is like a serpent
And your mouth is full of lies
Seeing you here, well that's no surprise
That's no surprise
All the time we spent,
Well that's all wasted
And those tears we cried
Can all still be tasted
So why don't you
Take away your hips and thighs
Take away your beguiling eyes
Take it all away and then don't come back again,
Just go
The lyrics of Ezio's song Go are an emotional portrayal of heartbreak and acceptance. The singer addresses his ex-partner, who has just recently gotten married to someone else. The first verse gives a brief background about the ex-partner's new life and how happy she seems. The singer admits that he cannot take seeing her happy and that he wants her to leave. He uses metaphors to describe her appearance, comparing her hair to a storm cloud and her eyes to sharks.
The second verse is more hopeful, as the singer wishes his ex-partner the best in her life with her new husband. However, he also admits that he cannot handle the pain of seeing her every day and that he might react disapprovingly. He begs her to leave and not come back again.
The chorus conveys the same message in a more direct and emotional way, describing the ex-partner's tongue as a serpent and her mouth as full of lies. The singer seems to struggle with his emotions and eventually breaks down, admitting that he will cry out her name when she leaves.
Overall, the lyrics of Go are a powerful expression of heartbreak and acceptance. They use metaphors and emotional language to convey the singer's pain and desire for closure.

I've been to see Ezio twice in Manchester, I was introduced to them by an ex girlfriend, despite their songs now being painful to hear Ezio are still shockingly one of the most underrated but hugely talented musicians I've ever heard.
