Who goes to work everyday
And I know a man
Who pays his bills come what may
And every night
On his way home
He stops off in a bar
And its so easy to be lost
So easy to feel so used
Its so easy to be lost
When you're thirty and confused
I remember a time
You use to drive an expensive car
And I remember the day
He bought his first guitar
Everyday he'd practice
They couldn't stop him, who would dare
He must've played in a million bands
But he never got no where
And its so easy to be lost
So easy to feel so used
It's so easy to be lost
When you're thirty and confused
And have you ever
Had to live on your own
I know a man
Who's lost his home
You see he met a girl
And she stole his heart
Changed his world
Tore it apart
And its so easy to be lost
So easy to feel so used
It's so easy to be lost
When you're thirty and confused
When you're thirty
When you're thirty
When you're thirty
And confused
The song "Thirty And Confused" by Ezio talks about the struggles of being in the 30s and feeling lost, confused, and used. The first stanza introduces two characters, one who goes to work every day and pays his bills, but stops in a bar to drink alone on his way home. This highlights a sense of monotony and unhappiness in his life, possibly due to feeling unfulfilled or unsatisfied.
The second stanza talks about a man who used to drive an expensive car but now owns a guitar. He practices every day and has played in many bands but never got anywhere. This highlights the struggle of pursuing one's dream and not succeeding, leading to a sense of defeat and disillusionment.
The third stanza talks about a man who has lost his home because he met a girl who changed his world and then tore it apart. This highlights the impact of relationships and how they can change one's life completely, for better or worse.
Overall, the song portrays a sense of hopelessness and uncertainty in one's 30s, a time when one expects to have life figured out but often realizes they don't. The lyrics suggest that it's easy to feel lost and used in this decade of life and that it's okay to feel that way.

Damn when I moved to Germany 19 years ago I use to play this constantly as it was exactly how I felt. 30 years old in a foreign country. So glad I found the song again
