He began studying the piano at the age of six. By age 15, F.E.D had added the cello to his musical studies. In 2000, he started his solo career when he debuted as a soloist with the Holy Trinity Modern Orchestra. Soon after, he left Haiti for the United States where he earned a degree in Architecture. Between his college studies, he composed additional works and participated in multiple music contests. His inspiration comes from his life experiences, his interest in the music of different world civilizations, and, most importantly, the expression of human emotions. F.E.D's musical sound blends contemporary electronic music, classical music, Haitian folk and konpa music, and other world influences.
In August 2006, F.E.D and Friends won two gold medals and two industry awards representing Haiti at the 2006 World Championships of Performing Arts in Hollywood, California. On December 20th, 2006, F.E.D was awarded the 2006 International Music Award in the Best Composition category for his piece "Reflection," which is featured on the 2006 Music Aid Awards CD. F.E.D also received a presentation Gold Disc from the Music Aid Organization for his work that year.
The composer spent 2009 and 2010 in the studio composing and recording his first album. In December 2011, F.E.D released this much anticipated debut album titled βAwakeningβ, which he wrote, arranged and produced. Violinist Maestro J, violinist Maureen Manoly, and singer Annelise Collette participated in the project. Tracks include the instantly uplifting βAwakening,β the ethnic βAscensionβ which is based on a Yanvalou rhythm, the exotic and nostalgic "Pays Lointain," the konpa flavored "Fantaisie," the sensual βMissing You,β and the powerful and inspiring "The Quest." This project, with its crossover style, captures a variety of moods from the energetic and dramatic to the light and romantic. With its cinematic sound, high energy, and strong memorable melodies, this album is sure to please all music lovers.
Encouraged by the success of this first album, F.E.D is now looking forward to continue presenting his music to many audiences and, to continue composing music that touches hearts and souls of people and defies borders.

Moments In Time
F.E.D Lyrics
All the ways time flies
Stuck in between things I don't need
As grief takes the aisle
And doubt occupies the window seat
Jet lagged red eyes
It's worth it to see the sun rise
Bags packed bursting at the seams
Can't deny it's all for my dreams
That's between you and me, you and me
A motion in time
Save it for your piece of mind
My soul's in decline
I'm sinking down but you're so high, yea
As I shut my eyes
Thoughts are suspended in mid air
I'll recline miles high
Floating above what isn't there
Sunrise sunset
I haven't met one like you yet
Extend these days and nights
Diving deep beneath the sea
That's between you and me, you and me
A motion in time
Save it for your piece of mind
My soul's in decline
I'm sinking down but you're so high, yea
Looking out my window
Looking out my window
I find you in the sea belowΒ Β
I find you in the sea below
Memories drifting in the tide
Memories drifting
Colliding with the ocean side
A motion in time
Save it for your piece of mind
My soul's in decline
I'm sinking down but you're so high, yea yea
Stuck in between things I don't need
As grief takes the aisle
And doubt occupies the window seat
Jet lagged red eyes
It's worth it to see the sun rise
Bags packed bursting at the seams
Can't deny it's all for my dreams

Vlad's questions:
1) What was it like growing up in SWATS?
2) What was your family home like?
3) How many kids did she have?
4) What do you think was the hardest thing seeing your mama struggle?
5) At what point did you start messing around in the streets and getting into problems?
6) You went to jail at 12, so that was juvie at that point?
7) What you get locked up for?
8) OK, so you break into houses?
9) Oh you tried to break into a house and got caught?
10) OK, you with some friends?
11) Whose idea was this?
12) OK so you guys tried to break into a house, and what happens, someone called the police and they arrive?
13) The Red Dogs are the police?
14) So they pull up on you, as you were trying to break into this house, and then boom, they arrest you right quick
15) How much time did they give you
16) So not a big deal initially?
17) So what happened after that?
18) OK, you end up dropping out of school at one point?
19) 9 - 10th grade?
20) OK, but you dropped out of high school?
21) So why you dropped out?
22) Ok, so you basically said fuck school and you just start hanging out?
23) What started to happen after you dropped out?
24) OK, and that ultimately led up to you getting 2 years in prison
25) OK, And how old were you at the time?
26) And what were these cases that you kept catching?
27) Now, you ended up kind of getting lucky initially?
28) Tell me about that ..
29) OK, so you started to get into fights essentially in the program?
30) OK, you got into a fight with a white dude?
(( NOTE: This is where Lil Baby asks Vlad how did he know about the fight with the White dude . . Vlad said "think you may have mentioned it in the past". Lil Baby knew Vlad was lying because he hadn't mentioned who he was fighting against ))
31) Was it like a racist thing . . was it like whites and blacks, kind of cliqued up?
32) And then all hell broke loose after that?
33) So this 6 month program that they were given to you, they said fuck all that and shipped you off to the real penitentiary
34) OK, so after that program, you get shipped off to real penitentiary
35) And you were how old?
36) So, at 18, they shipped you off to a real prison?
37) As a teenager, you get locked up in juvie here and there, and the program's not like a real prison is it?
38) When you first stepped foot in that prison, how do you feel?
39) So what was the penitentiary like?
40) But you actually had friends in there?
41) And they were doing life in there?
42) An 18 year old doing double life?
43) Being in that situation, talking to someone that is the same age as you that's never getting out, did that get you thinking at all?
44) You said in prison, if you're not in a gang, it's pretty hard . .
45) So what happens if a regular dude comes to prison, no gang affiliation, no friends, no nothing, what usually happens to that person?
46) Well you talked about there's a whole rape culture in prison . .
47) So you actually knew of shit like going on . .

Tahbizz
fr was just thinking that shit too bruh π€£
Deshaydes S
He didn't asked nothing about his music, just his troubles as a kid, crimes and jail. That's why Vlad can't be trusted.

Thatβs what he does m, thatβs what interviews are, your life, he knew the questions he would be asked
Christopher McDade
It does make sense to ask questions about prison time etc.
I also kind of doubt the police would hire VladTV to help bring down criminals. If they are talking about their prison times, it seems the police already knows how to get them. And I'm not sure if VladTV interviews can be used to pin crimes on someone either.
