I am standing facing the wind and leaning into it, allowing myself to feel its force.

Pretend that I am weightless
By leaning into the wind, I imagine that I am being carried away, weightless and carefree.

I am fully present and content in this moment of peacefulness and serenity.

I am longing for the presence of someone I care about to share this moment with.

I am getting comfortable and relaxing further into the moment by resting my head on the soft sand.

The cloud formations in the sky create the effect of a lit-up canopy or roof overhead.

With holes punched in it
The clouds have openings or gaps that resemble holes, allowing glimpses of the blue sky beyond.

I'm counting UFOs
I am playfully imagining that passing airplanes are unidentified flying objects and counting them as they pass overhead.

I signal them with my lighter
I am flashing a lighter in the direction of the airplanes, imagining that they might see it and notice me waving to them below.

The worlds a roller coaster
The ups and downs of life can be compared to the unpredictability and excitement of a roller coaster ride.

And I am not strapped in
I am living my life without feeling held back or restricted by fear or caution.

Maybe I should hold with care
I am acknowledging that there are risks to living life recklessly and perhaps I should be more cautious.

But my hands are busy in the air saying)
Despite the risks, I am still living life to the fullest, with hands held high and a sense of freedom and joy.

I wish you were here
I still wish that someone I care about was here to share in the excitement and adventure of life with me.

I wish you were.
My longing and desire for companionship is still present, and I hope that someday that wish will come true.
