After playing hometown dates at local festivals in 2016, Faouzia’s burgeoning career started to blossom. She has since taken the stage at Toronto’s Yonge & Dundas Square for Canada’s Walk Of Fame Festival, and played one high profile event after another, wowing audiences with her heart-wrenching lyrics and magnetic stage presence.

Switching seamlessly between composing songs in English and French, Faouzia follows her well-tuned instinct when songwriting. Her first single “Knock On My Door” found its way onto regular rotation at Canadian radio, and the follow up “My Heart’s Grave” is already seeing adds in both Canada, and her native Morocco. Another accolade that the teen can add to her already impressive résumé is that of an award-winner. I've been nonchalantly listening to "exothermic" by Faouzia for a cool four years, and never even thought to look at her other work.... I MADE A MASSIVE MISTAKE. When I listened to as many as I could find yesterday I found not a single one I didn't like and didn't podcast her talent in such a beautiful light. My wife and I just recently purchased a mountain to retire to in 12 years (maybe sooner God willing). I was having fun just finding mountain songs and ran across this song. It literally brought me to tears because it fit my wife and all that she has gone through in life (her family, my family and work). She has ADHD and due to that she is just misunderstood and the reaction is NEVER one of understanding of how an ADHD mind works and just coming along side her. I love her so very much and I'm glad that she and I get to climb this mountain over and over and over as we build our new home and farm. Thank you Faouzia for this song and all the others that fit her so well. I'm sure she would love to hear the stories behind the lyrics some day.

Firstly, moment of silence for those who haven't found Faouzia yet. I heard "Tears of Gold" on AGT performed by Daneliya Tuleshova and straight up went on a search for a brilliant mind behind that work of art. Faouzia, that is a diamond of a voice, and song after song I'm still proving myself right.
