A few years back she also had multiple very large ovarian cysts and she was in so much pain, couldn’t dance or make music. They could have killed her, thank god she got them removed and recovered. Honest opinion : This gave SO many layers. Didn't expect to like this as much as I do. Abels verse was so on point for the vibe. These two sound AMAZING together. Not only is this just an amazing song it feels like it’s so much more than that. The visuals are ethereal yet are clearly referencing traumatic incidents that happen in and around night clubs…yet it never victimizes the women that experience them and imbues a sense of empowerment instead.

Because fka Twigs came in 2012 as an alternative r&b singer at the same time as the weeknd. I discovered her since 2016 but I always believed in a collaboration between them, because of their universes bland well together. totally, i agree. It's the same with arca, who also worked on this track. I have been dreaming of the 2 of them working together again, but they both somehow lean towards the mainstream more now. It's not really for me anymore, but it's fine. Artists grow and they don't have to grow in the same direction as me.
