Feels like I've been waitin' a lifetime (yeah, yeah)
For you to tell me what's goin' on in your mind (mind)

But you don't talk to me, talk to me
I'm tryna walk with you so walk with me
But you be takin' too long (you be takin' too long)
Soon, I'll be gone
Say you want my body, body
But you ain't never do a thing about it
Baby, lovin' you is such a chore
'Cause you're steady movin' immature
I don't want no body, body
Who talk that talk but don't do shit about it
Say you gonna put it down for sure
Why you gotta be so imma-, imma-

Imma-tu-tu-tu-ture, tu-tu-tu-ture
Imma-tu-tu-tu-ture, tu-tu-tu-ture
Imma-tu-tu-tu-ture, tu-tu-tu-ture
Imma-ture

Oh (oh)
I'm tryna understand your point of view
But you fuckin' with me, fuckin' with me
Tell me, how can I relate (ah)
If you don't communicate?

But you don't talk to me, talk to me (oh)
I'm tryna walk with you so walk with me (walk with me, yeah)
But you be takin' too long (you be takin' too long)
Soon, I'll be gone

Say you want my body, body (ah)
But you ain't never do a thing about it (ha-ah-ah-ah)
Baby, lovin' you is such a chore
'Cause you're steady movin' immature
I don't want no body, body (no I don't, no I don't)
Who talk that shit but don't do shit about it
Say you gonna put it down for sure
Why you gotta be so imma-, imma-

Imma-tu-tu-tu-ture, tu-tu-tu-ture
Imma-tu-tu-tu-ture, tu-tu-tu-ture
Imma-tu-tu-tu-ture, tu-tu-tu-ture
Imma-ture

Say you want my body, body
But you ain't never do a thing about it (thing about it)
Baby, lovin' you is such a chore
'Cause you're steady movin', immature

I don't want nobody, body (no, oh)
Who talk the talk but don't do shit about it (about it)
Say you gonna put it down for sure (down for sure)
Why you gotta be so imma-, imma-

Immature, immature (immature, immature)
Immature, immature (immature, immature)
Ha, ah, ah (imma-tu-tu-tu-ture, tu-tu-tu-ture)
Immature, so immature
Why you gotta be? (So immature)
Why you gotta be? (So immature)

So immature
Oh

Overall Meaning

In the song "Immature", FLO expresses her frustration towards a love interest who is not mature enough to communicate effectively with her. The first verse sets the tone as FLO discusses the amount of time she has been waiting for the person to share what is on their mind, but they continue to stay quiet. She asks for them to walk with her, but they are taking too long to keep up, making her feel like she has to leave soon. In the chorus, FLO explains that her love interest talks about wanting to be intimate with her, but never follows through with any real action. She refers to this person's behavior as "immature" and an annoyance.

In the second verse, FLO struggles to relate to her love interest because of their unwillingness to communicate. She emphasizes that she wants to understand their perspective, but they keep "fucking with her" instead of talking. FLO wraps up the song repeating the chorus, lamenting the other person's immaturity and her desire for someone who is more sincere.

Overall, the song's theme emphasizes the importance of communication and maturity in relationships. FLO highlights the frustration that can result from a partner's lack of openness and follow-through, ultimately leading to feelings of being unloved, neglected, and potentially the end of the relationship.

This group is so refreshing. I loved their EP

@drekafine8831

Unfortunately, I got turned off by the "immature" comment that was said about Nicki and her husband. I tried to tune in to this song, but if I don't like something about an artist personality, it ends up being hard for me to support that person from that point forward.

@AbbeyTaylor93

@@drekafine8831 that’s on the member’s opinion and it has nothing to do with their music. Nothing about what she said was immature or disrespectful. But I get your point, that’s why you’ll never find my in the comments section of one of Nicki’s music videos.

@athina1864

@@drekafine8831 can you explain please ?
I’m not really getting the context of the conversation

@drekafine8831

@UCqvN7Mm0orq5BRFwr5azYIw what I said is MY opinion and I didn't say it to change how other people feel about them. But, you see how that works? Meaning, you just stated that it's THE MEMBER'S OPINION about how she felt about Nicki & her husband. And vice versa, I just stated MY OPINION as well🤔🤷🏽‍♀️

These women have blended the nostalgic vibe of 90s/00s girl groups with a new and fresh sound that fits on the radio and charts today. There’s no way they aren’t going to make it big!!

@gabymerman9005

@@melissadash1537 I was just thinking that 2 secs ago lol And the clothing too !

@brandnubraids2599

Hopefully they'll make it big this song is nostalgic and 🔥🔥🔥.but how the industry is set they will have to change smh

@thomasblackcraft

True, but also in the 90’s every song wasn’t dissin men. We had love in our songs coming from both sides in R&B……..

@rjs2035

@@thomasblackcraft You act like almost every song in rap, r&b, and hip-hip performed by a man hasn’t been about using and objectifying women, ESPECIALLY in the 90s and 2000s. They aren’t “dissing men” they are singing breakup songs that appear to be written around one specific guy that a relationship got messy with. They literally have 5 songs, and 3 of them are breakup songs, and 2 are friendship/empowerment songs. Stop reaching so that you can try to put down women.
