Whoa, whoa
Whoa, whoa
Whoa, whoa
Whoa, whoa
Whoa, whoa
Whoa, whoa
Riding, these roller coaster roads
We keep on driving
With no where left to go
It's just you and me
The smell of autumn leaves and gasoline
Right now that's all that we need
Out on the road to no where
But we got the time to get there
We won't turn around
So let's crank the radio up
Can't seem to get enough
We're lost inside the sound
We're never coming down
Whoa, whoa,
Whoa, whoa
Never coming down
Whoa, whoa
Whoa, whoa
Moments, turn into memories
The windows open
A hand cuts through the breeze
I see the red sunrise
Reflected in your eyes and I feel fine
We'll always remember these times
Out on the road to no where
But we got the time to get there
We won't turn around
We're never coming down
So let's crank the radio up
Can't seem to get enough
We're lost inside the sound
We're never coming down
I feel the light
It's you and I
And when the morning birds are in the night
I know that you know what it feels like
I'll always remember these times
Out on the road to no where
Maybe tonight, we'll get there
We won't turn around
So let's crank the radio up
Can't seem to get enough
We're lost inside the sound
We're never coming down
We're never coming down
We're never coming down
Never coming down
Whoa, whoa
"Never Coming Down" by Faber Drive is a song about being on a journey with someone you love, with no particular destination in mind. The first verse suggests that they are driving on roads that are like a roller-coaster, signifying the ups and downs they encounter in life's journey. However, with each other's company and the feeling of being free on the road, they want to keep on driving even though they have nowhere to go. Autumn leaves and gasoline emphasize the beauty of the time they're spending together.
The chorus talks about how they are lost in the music, and they won't turn back or come down from the high they're experiencing. The second verse implies that the journey has become memorable, and moments shared have become timeless memories. They can feel the sunrise through their open window, and they are lost in each other's eyes. The bridge says that the light they feel is each other's presence, and they both know what it feels like. The song ends on the same note as the chorus, with the singer declaring that they will never come down.
All in all, the song is a celebration of two people finding adventure and solace in each other's company, and how they are unwilling to come down from the highs that they experience. It speaks to the desire to keep the moment alive, and to hold onto the feeling that they are lost in music and memories.
