the way I used to look into your eyes,
purple clouds in a deep blue sea,
just like the oceans that separate
That separate that separate that separate
That separate that separate
You and Me
Looking
the way I used to look into your eyes,
purple clouds in a deep blue sea,
got me hypnotized
got me hypnotized
got me hypnotized
Looking into the winter sky,
the way I used to look into your eyes
got me hypnotized
Looking into the w
inter sky,
the way I used to look into your eyes,
purple clouds in a deep blue sea,
just like the oceans that separate
That separate that separate that separate,
that separate that separate,
You and Me
Looking into the winter sky,
the way I used to lo
ok into your eyes,
purple clouds in a deep blue sea,
got me hypnotized
got me hypnotized
Looking into the winter sky,
the way I used to look into your eyes
got me hypnotized
These lyrics from Fabian's song "Hypnotized" depict a sense of longing and nostalgia for a past love. The singer is reminiscing about the way they used to gaze into their partner's eyes, and now, as they look into the winter sky, it reminds them of that deep connection they once had. The mention of "purple clouds in a deep blue sea" creates an imagery of a dreamlike and serene atmosphere, mirroring the emotions felt when they were with their loved one.
The repetition of the phrase "that separate" emphasizes the idea of distance and separation between the singer and their former partner. The oceans referenced in the lyrics symbolize the vast and insurmountable divide that exists between them now. Despite this separation, the singer is still captivated and mesmerized by the memories of their past relationship. The repetition of "got me hypnotized" further emphasizes the irresistible hold that the memories have on them.
Overall, these lyrics convey the bittersweet emotions of reminiscing about a love that is now lost, but still holds a powerful sway over the singer.
