Turn Me Loose
Fabian Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Turn me loose, turn me loose I say
This is the first time I have felt this way
Gonna get a thousand kicks or kiss a thousand chicks
So turn me loose

Turn me loose, turn me loose I say
Gonna rock'n'roll long as the band's gonna play
Gonna holler, gonna shout, gonna knock myself right out
So turn me loose (turn me loose, ooh-ahh)

I've got some change in my pocket and I'm rarin' to go
Takin' some chick-a to the picture show
And when I see her home and we kiss goodnight
Well, turn me loose, turn me loose, turn me loose, turn meloose

Turn me loose, turn me loose I say
Yes, today is gonna, is gonna be the day
I want you all to understand, now I am a man
So turn me loose (turn me loose, ooh-ahh)

I've got some change in my pocket and I'm rarin' to go
Takin' some chick-a to the picture show
And when I see her home and we kiss goodnight
Well, turn me loose, turn me loose, turn me loose, turn meloose

Turn me loose, turn me loose I say
Yes, today is gonna, is gonna be the day

I want you all to understand, now I am a man
So turn me loose (turn me loose, ooh-ahh)

He wasn't a ELVIS replacement, that's for sure. He had the determination and confidence but he lacked all the talent and
Charisma. When ELVIS was in the Army
for 2 years, all the pop idols came on the
scene, to take his 👑 of Rock and Roll,
they were never a threat to ELVIS. He had
his millions of loyal fans waiting for his return home. If anyone thought for a second, it was over for the king of Rock and Roll, they were so wrong. ELVIS would return
home, and pick up, right where he left off,
like he had never left!!♥️🥰🎶NO stopping

My bedroom walls were covered with pictures of my Fabian from teen magazines. Early 80's he was in an outdoor concert in San Diego The Wild Animal Park.... He asked if anyone wanted to come up on stage and stroll!!! Are you kidding me in a split second there I was on stage he held my hand for a brief moment.... Time stood still lol swoooon and then we did the stroll to this song!!! The coolest memory and here I am 77 still doing the stroll!!!

Happy 80th Birthday Fabian <3

@ptournas

I met him around 1962 or '63. My father worked at a major record distributor in Boston and would take me to work with him on the weekends. When I met him I grabbed a Fabian album and asked him to autograph it for my little sister. I gave her the album and she literally kissed the signature off the album in about six months!

@wesley1942

Fabian was at Ashland, County Fair grounds for a show in 1956 or 1957 I was there

You couldn't help but like him. He had no ego. He told his manager Bob Marcucci he couldn't sing. Maybe so, but he could act and proved it. A real nice guy.
