Meu drama
Fabiana Cozza Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
E embriagada minh'alma
Efeito da sua sedu
ção
Meu corpo treme, minha voz falha
E a minha mente desvairada
Me entrega ao seu jogo de paixão
The lyrics in Fabiana Cozza's song "Meu Drama" are centered around the idea of being overwhelmed by a powerful attraction to someone, to the point where one's very being is affected. The opening lines convey a sense of unease: "Sinto abalada minha calma" ("My calm is shaken"), suggesting that the singer is experiencing some kind of emotional upheaval. This is followed by the line "E embriagada minh'alma" ("And my soul is intoxicated"), which implies a loss of control or surrender to a visceral desire. The cause of this turmoil is identified as "Efeito da sua sedução" ("The effect of your seduction"), indicating that the other person has a potent allure that is difficult to resist.
The rest of the lyrics describe the physical and mental effects of this attraction, with the singer trembling, her voice failing, and her mind "desvairada" (unmoored or unhinged). Despite the uncertainty and chaos, however, she is willing to be swept up in "seu jogo de paixão" ("your game of passion"). The song captures the intensity of infatuation, the way it can overwhelm and disrupt one's sense of self. At the same time, there is a sense of surrender and acceptance, as if the singer is willing to let herself be carried away by the intensity of her feelings.

Sinto abalada minha calma
I feel my calmness shaken
E embriagada minh'alma
And my soul intoxicated
Efeito da sua sedu
The effect of your seduction
E eu tento, eu tento, eu tento
And I try, I try, I try
Mas eu sempre acabo assim
But I always end up like this
Seu jogo é forte e eu sou fraca
Your game is strong and I am weak
E me dou por inteira, ah, ah
And I give myself completely, ah, ah
E você me deixa vazia
And you leave me empty
Meu drama é esse amor
My drama is this love
Que me deixa sem poder
That leaves me powerless
Meu drama é ter você
My drama is having you
E não poder te ter
And not being able to have you
Se é paixão ou é loucura
If it's passion or it's madness
Já não sei mais distinguir
I no longer know how to distinguish
O que sei é que você
All I know is that you
Não me deixa resistir
Don't let me resist
