In 2003 Fab D released "Panty Raid", which earned them additional respect as one of the foremost bands in their genre. Described by some as an intriguing mixture of the Go-Go's, Joan Jett and Sleater Kinney, one thing was certain - Fabulous Disaster was creating their own delightful niche within the realm of rock & roll.
In 2004 Fab D recruited the talented guitarist Squeaky from Girlush Figure, bringing a new element of explosive stage presence and spice to their music. An accomplished songwriter Squeaky quickly found her soul mates in Mandolyn and Gess as evident by their "I'm A Mess" release- a six pack shot of an EP that showcased the trio's amazing chemistry fueled by wonderful songwriting as evident in the title track and the giddily humorous "Viva La Prozac".
With the recent addition of bass player Lizzie Boredom to the fold, and great new songs like "Such A Stupid Girl" waiting in the wings, the fab four is now once again complete and ready to kick a** in a town near you.

Fabulous Disaster Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Even though the government tells us just to stand behind it
That's the way they try to bind us tie a rope and then remind us
Even though the government doesn't even stand behind
And now you want me I don't think so
You say you need me I don't think so
You're so blind I don't think so
Everyday they try to hide it
All they do is lie and slight us
They can't even get it straight
Years ago Watergate
Sometime we just roll our eyes up pull the shades down
They despise us
How come the government doesn't even stand behind
These lyrics from Fabulous Disaster's "Spoiled" speak to the singer's disillusionment with the government and society more broadly. The first stanza references the government's attempt to control and manipulate the population, even though the government itself is not reliable or trustworthy. The singer is frustrated that there seems to be no point in fighting against this system, despite its flaws.
The second stanza expands on this frustration, with lines like "Everyday they try to hide it / All they do is lie and slight us." The reference to Watergate, a political scandal in the 1970s, implies a sense of historical context for these ongoing issues with the government. The final line, "How come the government doesn't even stand behind," highlights the singer's anger and disappointment with those in power.
Overall, these lyrics present a cynical view of the government and society, suggesting that those in power are more concerned with controlling the population than actually serving them.
