Face to Face Lyrics

What's it going to be right or wrong?
I don't have the strength left to fight
I don't have to make up my mind
I know you're never wrong
No matter what it takes
I know you're not the one
Help me out
I don't want your handout
I don't need your way out
So what's it going to be
I've done everything
Why won't you believe?
You're the same as me
Handout by Face to Face is a song that speaks about self-doubt, being at a crossroads and needing guidance. The song starts with the lead singer wondering what it will take for him to be done, implying that he is struggling with something and wants to move on. The chorus asks for help, implying that the singer doesn't have the strength to fight and make a decision on his own. He acknowledges that he knows he's not right, but everyone makes mistakes, emphasizing the need for help and understanding.
The verses hint that the singer is desperate for guidance but doesn't want a handout. He wants someone to believe in him but not provide a way out. The song builds up to the final plea, asking the person he is singing to if they are the same as him. It is a reference to the fact that everyone has struggles, and everyone needs help at some point in their life.
Overall, "Handout" is a song that highlights the universal feeling of being lost or struggling and the necessity of reaching out for help. It's a poignant reminder that even when we don't want handouts, it's okay to ask for help, to look for understanding, and to move ahead in life.
