After receiving attention in 2006 for a track released on Advanced Electronics vol3, Faderhead was signed to Accession Records/Indigo and released his debut album "FH1". One year later, he followed up with his sophomore album "FH2".
In 2008, Faderhead parted ways with Accession Records and joined L-Tracks Recordings. On October 10th, the third Faderhead album, aptly titled "FH3" was released.
Faderhead's live show is currently supported by Marco Visconti (of XP8) on keyboards and backing vocals. The Hamburg producer/vocalist uses different musicians for live shows.
Older Now
Faderhead Lyrics

And it has always been due to human error
Another day is gone
And I got nothing done
A little older now
But can't get smart somehow
I cant find strength to wake
I cancel one more plan
Find an excuse to make
And I've been in this place
A hundred times
Your words are burning through my nerves
But what they mean I still don't know
And it has always been due to human error
I know this can't be right
But I'm too dead to not hide
Proceed to numb my brain
And feel the same again
Another day is gone
And I got nothing done
I can't get smart somehow
But I am older now
The lyrics to Faderhead's song "Older Now" are reflective of the feelings of stagnation and frustration that can overtake a person as they age. The opening lines suggest that mistakes and missteps in life are often the result of human error, a confirmation that we are not perfect beings. From there, the lyrics become more personal as the singer laments his inability to be productive, his stalling in the face of everyday responsibilities. He is "a little older now," but can't seem to shake the feeling that he is not getting wiser with age.
The chorus of the song is the most poignant, as the singer repeats that he can't get smart somehow, that life has gone by and he has nothing to show for it. The repetition of "another day is gone" reinforces the idea that time is passing the singer by, but he cannot seem to find his place in the world. He feels helpless and stuck, unable to muster the strength to get out of bed or follow through on his plans. The bridge of the song introduces an element of confusion, as the singer acknowledges that others' words are affecting him deeply but he still doesn't understand their meaning. This suggests that the singer is open to change and self-improvement, but he doesn't know where to begin.
