I was lucky enough to see Faithless perform live in Ibiza many years ago and the group are responsible for so many great dance music classics, but 'Insomnia' is something really really special that will always get my hairs on the back of my neck rising when the iconic pizzicato hits. His smooth, low tones fit perfectly and the fact that millions of people throughout the world now can recite lines involving 'one dry potato' and 'tearing off tights with my teeth' show how huge his influence was.

I love this but it makes me feel so sad at the same time. I think of my best friend who passed away with cancer in December 2018. We'd lost touch for many years and then I found out she had passed away. This brings back so many good memories but I feel so sad and lonely because my Mandea Moogle isn't here anymore. So as much as I love this it breaks my heart to listen to it ☹️
