Fake Blood (Roughneck Remix) Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

AC/DC
Bonfire
If You Want Blood You Got It
It's criminal, there ought to be a law
Criminal, and you know what we're shootin' for

Shouting at the other guy
When his back is turned
Don't know the reason why
Ain't it 'bout time you learn

If you want blood, you got it
If you want blood, you got it
Blood on the sheets, blood on the rocks
Blood in the gutter, give my last drop
You want blood, you got it

Wha-ooh

It's animal, livin' in the human zoo
It's animal, and i know what you gotta do
It's the curse of the working man
Givin' more and gettin' less
Doin' everything he can, cleaning up the mess

If you want blood, you got it
If you want blood, you got it
Blood on the sheets, blood on the rocks
Blood in the gutter, give my last drop
You want blood, you got it

Ooooh (shove it)?

You want blood, you want blood
After you
Blood on the sheets, blood on the rocks,
Blood in the gutter, give my last drop
You want blood, you got it

If you want blood, you got it

If you want blood, you got it
If you want blood, you got it

Overall Meaning

The song "If You Want Blood You Got It" by AC/DC speaks about the primal instinct that exists within human beings to satisfy their desire through violent means. The opening lines "It's criminal, there ought to be a law; Criminal, and you know what we're shootin' for" probably suggest that they are going to do something wrong. The song talks about shouting at the other guy when their back is turned, and not knowing why they are doing it. It urges the listeners to learn from their mistakes and take control of their actions.

The song uncovers the darker side of human nature. It talks about living in a human zoo where every individual is an animal in their own right. The curse of the working man is highlighted, where they give more and get less in return. In other words, the song portrays an idea that humans are waiting to unleash their inner beast through violence. The chorus "If you want blood, you got it" establishes the strong desire to have blood spilled. It is as if the violence is so overpowering that they cannot resist acting on it.

Gives me the chills listening to this 😩 I miss 2009 and 2010. raves and dance parties in L.A were amazing wish the scene was still the same

Dracorex

Wish I could’ve experienced those times of raving tbh sadly I was only 9-10 at those times

Wendy Gil

Dracorex I’m lucky I got to experience it 🥺 I was only 12 when I started raving. Raves used to be all ages back then in Southern California Where you from?

Dracorex

@Wendy Gil I’m from San Diego but I always knew raving from 2000-2012 was the prime time now it’s still cool and all but everything is Riddim now and it sounds so cheesy to me like I’m more of a dog blood, techno, bass house type of guy but I’m trying to figure out more artist in those type of genres

Wendy Gil

Dracorex there’s house and techno events if you don’t like Riddim. I feel you, I don’t like dubstep nowadays even 10 years ago it sounded different and way better.

Seagreentangerine

Someone needs to invent a join-in online rave, where the screen just keeps hopping to every single person who joined in dancing in their own room or garden, they'd make a fortune 🎶👏🏻
