Current members are Elektra Mosley (vocals), Pinguim (guitar), Gah (guitar), Tony (drums) and Diablo (bass).

After spending 2007 and 2008 traveling through Brazil to promote the album "Cinco Faces de Um Segredo", they got the music video for "Aquela Música" on MTV Brasil and share the stage with national bands as NxZero, Fresno, Gloria, Strike, and international bands as New Found Glory, Millencolin and MxPx.

In 2009, having snapped up the award for "Best National Band", "Best Vocalist," "Best Video", "Best MySpace" and "Best Community of Orkut" at the website Zona Punk, Fake Number signs with Arsenal / Universal Music. The new album, produced by Lampadinha and artistic direction of Rick Bonadio has already been recorded, and its release is planned for June.

Getting fans wherever they go, Fake Number certainly have what they need to reach the Brazilian mainstream. The energy at the shows, interaction with the audience, the rhythm, the lyrics about sincere feelings and the way Elektra takes over the stage are a mixture of what Fake Number is now.
