and guess, I've never had an answer that's right
for this, I'll tell you in a little while
Save the kid, you're looking for a reason to try
I guess, the impetus is there in your smile
and yes, we'll do this in a little while
think you're coming home
The kids on overload
they think you're coming home
I don't know what you know
I don't know what you know
I see the west, I'd ask you to open your eyes
and guess, I've never had an answer that's right
for this, I'll tell you in a little while
Yeah save the kid, you're looking for a reason to try
I guess, the impetus is there in your smile
and yes, we'll do this in a little while
Kids on overload
think you're coming home
Yeah the kids on overload
they think you're coming home
I don't know what you know
I don't know what you know
Yeah the kids on overload
they think you're coming home
I don't know what you know
I don't know what you know
I see the west, I'd ask you to open your eyes
and guess, I've never had an answer that's right
for this, I'll tell you in a little while
Save the kid, you're looking for a reason to try
I guess, the impetus is still in your smile
and yes, we'll do this in a little while
Kids on overload
think you're coming home
Yeah the kids on overload
they think you're coming home
I don't know what you know
I don't know what you know
The kids on overload
they think you're coming home
I don't know what you know
I don't know what you know

Kids on overload
In Faker's song "Kids on Overload," the lyrics describe a state of confusion and anticipation. The singer is asking someone to open their eyes and see the world around them, while acknowledging that there is no one right answer to what they see. The repetition of "I don't know what you know" emphasizes the uncertainty and confusion present in the song's theme.
The chorus, "Kids on overload, think you're coming home," suggests a longing for something or someone that is not present. The use of the word "kids" implies a youthful innocence and yearning, while "overload" suggests that this feeling is overwhelming and intense. The repetition of the phrase adds to the sense of urgency and eagerness.
The line "Save the kid, you're looking for a reason to try" suggests that the singer is encouraging someone to find a purpose or motivation in life. The phrase "the impetus is still in your smile" implies that this purpose is within the person's own attitude and perspective.
Overall, the lyrics of "Kids on Overload" convey a sense of longing and anticipation, along with a call to action to find purpose and meaning in life.
