It does matter as music generates from cultures. Music depends mainly on two things; senses and emotions and those are massively affected by culture and the surround environment. So it does matter where you from and what you believe in and what you yourself are and feel. Music is an undefined language that can only be translated by cultures. Kurt K you are right if they didnt have guitar the rest would be too orientalist and i wouldnt endure the concert. Another funny thing when the guitarist started to play i said to my friend this guy must be from norht because of his style and when i turned back to home i learned he was eivind aarset and i was already following him in spotify and he is also a big parcitipant in a hell amount of my favourite jazz albums. Especially ECM 😍
