Tres Casas, which literally means Three Houses in Spanish, was released with a surrounding concept represented in the album's art and multimedia content, designed by the Venezuelan artist collective Keloide. Famasloop has described to the press that the album is divided into three houses, each one with a different theme (commercial, intellectual and spiritual). All of these houses include a half-a-minute introductory Puerta (Spanish for door), and three songs, making a total of twelve tracks. The album received production and post-production guest contribution from well-known musicians, such as Tweety González (keyboardist of Fito Páez), Nené Vázquez (percussionist of Aterciopelados), Guille Vadalá (Bass guitarist of Fito Páez), Oswaldo Rodríguez (Sur Carabela) and more.

The lyrics of Famasloop's "Canuto y Canito" showcase the friendship and bond between two individuals, Canuto and Canito. They have different interests and strengths, but they accept each other and provide support in their own ways. Canito likes to sing while Canuto goes out for a jog. Despite Canuto's out of tune singing, Canito still thinks of him warmly. Canuto enjoys fishing, but Canito is not a great dancer. Even though they are not quite similar in their tastes and abilities, they still enjoy each other's company.
The song also expresses a deep gratitude towards a father figure, who has been the guiding force in their lives. The father figure is attributed with a range of roles - from teaching them how to breathe, cycle, and even showing them the sea. The father has also endeared himself to their family, having won over the mother and being a constant presence in their lives. The father is remembered fondly, with even Canito remembering him before he could speak.
