Not gonna lie, this is still a belter of a song. Really surprised it didn't do better, would be a great movie song too. Ainsley has done well for himself but he really should have been a pretty big music artist, the lad had a lot of talent.

I loved Ainsley in Fame Academy! I also loved Lemar! Wish they'd bring that show back! I loved watching them doing their singing lessons with Carrie and David and I'd do their exercises with them every day! Magic! 😊

I really still love "Keep Me Your Secret" even to this day. It's one of these songs that never seems to date. I think it's about 6 or 7 years old now. And I was surprised Ainslie Henderson didn't go on to bigger and better things. I wonder what he's doing now . . .

I had a recording of it on cassete tape (recorded it off the tele like a right old-school geek!) and me and my best friend used to play it and sing to it all the time! :D Fame Academy 1 has to be the best reality series ever. It brings back such special, innocent memories for me.

@TexierAnais Lemar finished THIRD because of regional voting. The final 3 were Lemar, David and Sinead. David being Scottish and Sinead being Irish put Lemar at a disadvantage due to the two regions out voting someone from London.

This sounds like a song by James. I was trying to place the singers tone and it sounds just like Tim Booth! If you sing 'all sit down' along with the chorus it's pretty much the same pattern.

@jonnbag06 ummmm there is only one flaw in your theory. London is a city, Scotland and Ireland are countries are you saying everyone in other English cities like say Norwich, Taunton, Manchester, Newcastle, Coventry etc etc chose not to vote for the lad from their own country? Oh and the population of Great London is around 2 million more than the whole of Scotland, So you can't really say Lemar was at a disadvantage for this reason!
