Ridwan founded Fantastic June on 2004. In the creativity process, he plays acoustic guitar and soft-synth in the preparation of his song/lyrics. In early 2005, Fantastic June released a free CD demo, and got a good feed back from his friends and others. On June 2007, Fantastic June release a mini album called An EP, which includes “May” as it’s first single.

Ridwan mendirikan Fantastic June (FJ) di tahun 2004. Dalam proses pembuatan lagunya, dia banyak mengandalkan penggunaan softh-synth dan acoustic guitar. Pertama kali dimulainya FJ adalah ketika ridwan sering mendengarkan Dashboard Confessional, Club 8 dan The Radio Dept., tiga band yang tidak berada di satu genre. Namun dari situ menginspirasi ridwan untuk mencoba membuat arransemen lagu yang akustik dan dikombinasikan dengan drum loop. Di tahun 2005, FJ terpilih untuk perform di Friday I'm In Loops, sebuah acara persembahan IfVenue. Kemudian sejak saat itu FJ memulai untuk lebih serius dalam mengarransemen lagu lebih banyak, hingga di akhir tahun 2005 FJ mengeluarkan sebuah demo CDR yang disebarkan secara gratis, dengan title "dhemo demo demmo". Dengan support dari teman dan berbagai pihak, di bulan Maret, 2006, FJ masuk recording studio di kawasan Bandung Selatan dan merekam beberapa materi yang sudah matang dan siap diedarkan. Kemudian di bulan Juni, 2007, FJ merilis sebuah EP, dengan title "Fantastic June - An EP" dengan single "May" sebagai pembuka di track pertama.
