Starczy mała wódki lufka
Każdy jest na sprzedaż
Byle dobra była cena
Czasami myślę sobie
To mi się śni
Co to za życie powiedz
Ja się nie dam nabrać
Nowe cuda, nowa viagra
Telefony w środku nocy
Nic mnie już nie zaskoczy
Czasami myślę sobie
To mi się śni
Co to za życie powiedz
Gdy rozum śpi?
Oko w oko z życiem
Nie unikam, więc widzę
Z daleka obserwuję
Znienacka atakuję
Godzina po godzinie
Minuta po minucie
Jeden krok do tyłu
I już nie ma gdzie uciec
Czasami myślę sobie
To mi się śni
Co to za życie powiedz
Gdy rozum śpi?
The lyrics to Farben Lehre's song Snukraina lament the fleeting nature of human memory and the temptation to trade one's morals for material gain. The first two lines suggest that people's memories are short and they can easily be swayed by the lure of alcohol or other vices. The next two lines imply that people can be bought if the price is right, suggesting a sense of moral ambiguity and ethical compromise.
The chorus repeats the line "Co to za życie powiedz gdy rozum śpi?", which translates to "What kind of life is it when reason sleeps?" This line indicates a dissatisfaction with a life lived without purpose or meaning, where one's actions are guided more by impulse than by conscious decision-making. The singer rejects the idea of being fooled by newfangled gadgets and nighttime phone calls, and suggests that they are impervious to surprises or temptations.
The final stanza suggests a more proactive stance towards life, with the singer choosing to face it head-on and observe it from a distance before attacking suddenly. The repetition of "Czasami myślę sobie" ("Sometimes I think to myself") underscores a sense of introspection and reflection. Overall, the song critiques a society that prioritizes immediate gratification at the expense of long-term vision and personal responsibility.
