Tell Me
Tell Me
You've got to tell me
Tell Me
Tell Me
Tell Me
Tell me what's the world with no soul?
Ooh, you got to tell me
Ooh
Tell me what's the world with no soul?
I'm gonna need to know
Ooh
What would it be
Tell me what would it be
with no soul?
What what would it be?
Would it, would it, would it be
a no soul
Tell me what's the world with no soul
Oh ooh
Tell me what's the world with no soul
Oh so cold
Tell me what's the world with no soul
Woah woah woah
Tell me what's the world with no soul
Oh so cold
Tell me what's the world with no soul
Tell Me
You've got to tell me
Tell me what's the world with no soul
Oh so cold
Tell me what's the world with no soul
No no, ooh
Tell me what's the world with yeah, a no soul
Please
Tell me what the world is yeah
You've got to tell me
Tell me what the world is yeah (x2)
The world to me, is more than evolution
More than money, more than technology
I believe, that there's more than evolution
Like you can change your mind, but you can't change your destiny
Blood is blood, and thicker than water
Men will die, to live forever
The race is on and I could be standing still
'Cos I have faith in something more than my will
Ooh, soul
Yeah, soul
Tell me what's the world with no soul
Oooh
Yeah, soul
Yeah
The lyrics in this song, Ray Ray by Fat Freddy's Drop, ask the listener to envision a world without soul. The singer repeats "tell me" multiple times in the song, emphasizing the importance of the listener's response. They want to know what the world would be like without soul, and ask for an answer to the question. The singer then continues to answer the question for themselves, stating that to them, the world is more than just evolution, money, and technology. They believe in something more, something that cannot be changed by willpower alone, and that something is soul.
